Geroge Cornwall, Brewer and Malster of Watergate, Bandon, was born in 1753 and was the son of George who died at Parkview (Ardnacarrig) in 1784.

George married Elizabeth Lee, daughter of Henry Lee of Barna, Co Tipperary.  She was one of 10 children, five sons and five daughters.  George and Elizabeth had at least five children baptised at Christ Church Kilbrogan namely Mary Elizabeth (baptised 5th December 1782 and married Edward Gillman at Christ Church Kilbrogan on 25th July 1801), Elizabeth (baptised 16th July 1784 and married John Nash of Brinny at Brinny Church on 12th June 1810), George Henry baptised on 9th August, 1785, Evan (no baptism record has been found but he was buried at Christ Church Kilbrogan in 1790), George, Henry and Alexander all baptised on 7th June 1795 and William (no record of his baptism at Christ Church).  William married Jane Delacour.  Jane is also buried at Christ Church Kilbrogan in a separate plot as are some of their children.  George died on 2nd January 1857 at Parkview (now Ardnacarrig) Bandon.  His death is recorded at Christ Church Kilbrogan and he may be buried in the same vault.   George's brother Henry died at Park View (now Ardnacarrig) in 1863 and his death is also recorded at Christ Church Kilbrogan.  Henry was the last member of the family to operate the brewery at Watergate Street.  Henry was a dedicated Methodist.
