This memorial of sorrowrs
Erected by John O'Donnell of
Ballingoola in memory of his
son Richard who was murdered
by the Peelers on the 4th october
1847. He was beloved by all who
knew him in his lifetime and
very much lamented by the
public at his death
yes brought to that death in
an untimely manner at the death in
age of 30 years also in memory
of his daughter Bridget who
departed life 31st Decr 1846
at the age of 38 years
My the Lord have mercy on their souls Amen
