Erected by James Dowling of Ballyouskill in memory of his beloved wife, Mary Dowling, who departed this life March 7, 1854, aged 40 years. The above James Dowling died January 19, 1883, aged 72 years. Also, children of Maurice Dowling: Mary Dowling, died July 19, 1895, age 21 years; son, William Dowling, who died April 12, 1894, age 17 years; son, Maurice Dowling, who died March 14, 1915, age 14 years. Above Maurice Dowling died 1915 at the age of 73 years.
