James Kiely 1871-1953, son of Patrick Kiely & Bridget Tobin of Ballingarry, Garryspillane, Co. Limerick married Ellen Moore 1877-1953, daughter of Denis Moore & Ellen Cleary of Kilphelan, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork on Feb 17th 1898 in Mitchelstown RC, Co. Cork.

Children born to them included Bridget Kiely 1898 , Ellen 1899 (in Ballylanders), Patrick 1901-1974, Mary 1903-1966, Hannah 1905, Denis 1906-1961 (in Killeen), James 1908, Margaret 1910-1940, Catherine 1912, Julia 1914-1991, Lizzie 1916, Thomas 1919, David 1921-1927  & William 1923 (in Ballingarry)

Mary Kiely 1903-1966, of this memorial, married  John Greene 1900-1972, son of John Greene 1866-1908 & Hanora Healy 1865 - ? of Ballinlough, Kilteely, Co. Limerick on Jan 10th 1937 in Hospital RC, Co. Limerick. Her husband John  died on 26th Jan 1972 in Ballinlough and was interred in Ballinlough cemetery at memorial LI-BLGH-086 on the historicgraves website.

Denis Kiely 1906-1961, emigrated to the USA in Mar 1928 on the SS Carmania. He married Helen Kubovic 1916-1981 in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Mar 19th 1934. He died on Feb 7th 1961 and was interred in Evergreen cemetery, New Haven CT. His daughter Helen Kiely was born circa 1936. She married Bernard J Rourke 1929-2012 on Jul 6th 1957 in New Haven, CT. Bernard’s obituary reads as follows :

In New Haven, CT on March 19, 2012, Bernard J. Rourke, beloved husband of Helen Kiely Rourke of North Branford CT. He was born in West Haven June 23, 1929, son of the late Eugene and Catherine Connelly Rourke. He served in the U. S. Navy in the Korean War. Mr. Rourke worked as a computer operator for 36 years for Gulf Oil until retiring in 1992.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, William (Regina) Rourke of Milford, Timothy Rourke of Killingworth and Trish (Paul) Lynn of North Branford; his grandchildren, Christine Rourke, Chelsea Germanese, James, Evan and Tyler Rourke and Paul Lynn, Jr. and by his brothers, Thomas Rourke of West Haven and John Rourke of Wallingford. He was predeceased by his brothers, Eugene, Robert and Walter Rourke. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
