The attached info on Thomas Shalvey in 1884 indicated he was not only buried in Ardcath but exhumed for a coroners report. There is no mention of him anywhere in the graveyard. This grave is the only common link. One would assume such a tragic end would have warranted a headstone. (Assuming this may be his resting place??) Where would James Shalvey, his brother who worked with him on potato picking on the day Thomas took sick to his bed and died?
