Notes:

Patrick and Margaret Murphy had no children.  They were married in 1883 when both were 40 years of age. (Where were they married?)

Patrick died on the 18th July 1918 and was buried in Glasnevin.

Margaret died on the 16th of April 1927.  Her death coincided with a gravedigger's strike in Glasnevin.  Margaret's brother, Robert Moore of Rowlestown, insisted that she be buried in Ardcath.  She is buried in the plot just north of the graves of Robert and Mary Margaret (Dowling) Moore.

When Mary (niece of Margaret) died, she was also buried in Ardcath, in the grave of her beloved Aunt Murphy. Mary was living in Ballsbridge in 1959 but died at 32 Caledonia Terrace, upper Grand Canal Street, Dublin on the 28th March 1950.
