Here lieth in hope of a
joyful resurrection the
body John Sampson the son
of John and Ann Sampson
of this parish who was buried
the 29th day of May 1761 in
the 21st year of his age
Happy the day when from the Earth I fled
to happier seats the Monsions of the Dead
sleep here my  dust from all disturbance free
pass on my firends but know your chance is near
perhaps the next be wife infinite prepare.
In memory of Mary, the wife
of John Lethbridge and daughter
of John and Ann Sampson of
this parish was here buried the 31st
day of March 1781,a ged 37 years.
