In the yard of
this sacred spot lie the mortal remains
of Louisa Godde Hole
wife of Rev Nathaniel John Brassey Hole
rector of this parish
and eldest daughter of
Edward Rolle Clayfield Esq
Of Brislington Hall, Somerset;
as a relation, friend, wife and mother
she was an example worthy of imitation
and departed this life
with a firm and lively faith in Christ
on the 11th day of March A.D. MDCCCXLI
aged XXXIII years, 1 eaving an only daughter
'My flesh shall rest in hope.'
Also of Louisa Sophia their
only hcild who after a long and severe
illness to which she submitted in a
cheerful and uncomplaning spirit
kissing the rod with which it had
pleased her heavenly father to afflict
her and in humble faith in the merits
of her loved remember
departed this life A.D. October XVIII MDCCCLVII
aged XX years.
