Underneath lieth in hope
of a joyful resurrection the remains of
Ann the daughter of William and
Ann Sampson of Stafferdbeear in this
parish who was here buried February
the 11th 1817 in the 29th year of her age.
'With patience at the last she did submit
and murmured not of what the Lord thoughfit
but with a Christian courage did resign
her soul to God at his appointed time.'
Also Arthur son of John & Mary
Ann Sampson who after a long illness
born patiently died December 17th 1868
aged 24.
