the  30th March 1825  aged  70 years.

This  stone is  placed  over  his  mortal

remains  by  Sir  Henry  Rob  Carden

BT  in  whose  service  he  lived  as

land  steward  for  three  years  and

four  months  during  which  time  his

conduct was  marked  by  the  most

exemplary  integrity  and  zeal.
