Here lie the Remains of Edward Hemphill of Springhill Doctor of Medicine who departed this Life the 1 of October 1811 Aged 76 years Also the remains of Frances Hemphill alias Despard His wife who departed this life the 19 of May 1807 Aged 59 years Also the Remains of Richard Hemphill younger son of the Above named Edward and Frances who died on the 7th day of Febraury 1869 Aged 82 years Also the remains of their daughter Mrs. Eliz.th, Blackmore widow of Lieut Colonel John Blackmore formerly of the 8th Foot who died on 22nd day of June 1869 aged 84 years.
