Sr.Gabriel Kennedy was Home Economics teacher and the last Mercy Sister to be interred in this cemetary.

The Mercy Sister Community purchased plot in the new  St.Joseph's Cemetery outside of Convent ground.

The first Mercy Sister to be interred in the new plot was Sr.M.Pius Kerrigan, 29-01-2001, Aged 95 years.
