IN EXCELSIS

Erected by Matthew Gallivan of
Ballyslogh, in memory of his
beloved Wife Mrs Bridget Gallivan
(alias) Kearsey with whose relies as
mutually designed, his are to be
entombed. She was in person lovely
indiisposition amiable and gentle uniting
amind of superior rectitude and charity,
which rendered more dear the virtues
of an affectionate Wife a tender mother and
a sincere friend. Her pious resignation at
the approach of death, after a long and
protracted illness, corresponded with the tenor
of that spotless life which she resigned on
the 21st of May 1851 in the 53rd year of her age.
Accept thou benevolent spirit this frail tribute
to thy memory from him who knew thee best
the partner of whose heart thon wert and
whose grief for thy loss is only mitigated
in the hope of being once more happy in thy society
